Decheng Chen, OMD, L.Ac

Dr. Decheng Chen has a Ph.D. in acupuncture and graduated from Nanjing University of TCM China. Dr. Chen studied under the most famous professor, Dr. Qiu Maoliang, to learn acupuncture and studied with him for 3 years. Before coming to the United States, he worked as a professor in The Acupuncture Institute of China, Academy of TCM in Beijing. He has more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience in China, Russia, Egypt, Dubai, U.A.E. and the U.S.A. He has published 11 books and more than 70 articles on Chinese Medicine, and has received numerous prizes and honors for his work. He is licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of New York.

2. Dr. Chen's background is a combination of knowledge in Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, he spent 5 years in regular medical education, 3 years on his master degree in acupuncture, and 3 years on his Ph.D degree in acupuncture.

3. Dr. Chen has 20 years experience in practice of acupuncture and Chinese Herbs, practicing both Acupuncture and Chinese herbs since 1986. His herbal formulas are tailored the individual patient. Dr. Chen is a noted publisher with 11 professional books and more than 70 articles on acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

4. Dr. Chen's needle technique is very different from other acupuncturist and provide wonderful results. He learned his technique from the renowned acupuncturist teacher, Dr. Qiu Mao Liang, who is considered the most famous acupuncture doctor in Chinese and has a reputation world wide.
