Gina Lin, OMD, L.Ac

Dr. Lin was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She received her bachelor degree in classical Chinese literature from Fu Jen Catholic University and taught at Hsing Wu College for 10 years before immigrating to the United States in 1982.

While Dr. Lin's background is in education, she has always been immensely interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal medicine. This led to her continual study of the philosophies, skills, and biographies of famous ancient medical practioners recorded throughout classical Chinese literature.

When Dr. Lin saw the imperfections in current health care options, she decided to go back to school for a formal education in Chinese medicine. Her goal is to apply an integrative approach to health to serve people who are not satisfied by traditional Western medicine. Gina earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from the acclaimed Samra University of Oriental Medicine and has been a California Acupuncture Board licensed practitioner for several years.

Dr. Lin applies the principles of Chinese medicine in her daily life, taking care of both the body and the mind. She enjoys travels to various parts of the world, hikes that bring her close to nature, reading, listening to music, cooking, and getting together with family and friends. She considers having two healthy, happy grown twin daugters one of her greatest fortunes.
